On August 28, 2026, HT Dental Lab hosted a professional knowledge-sharing session entitled “Occlusal Reconstruction in Full-Arch ZirCAD Prime Restorations – From Fundamental Principles to the Simulation of Natural Occlusion.” The session took place in an open, focused, and highly practical atmosphere.
The program was led by Dr. Nguyen Ho Quynh Anh, who provided in-depth insights into occlusion and the importance of occlusal control in full-arch restorations. This is a particularly important area for dental technicians, as a full-arch restoration must not only meet requirements for morphology, color, and aesthetics, but also achieve functional harmony and proper occlusal relationships.
Starting with the fundamental principles of occlusion, the session explored approaches to analyzing and reconstructing functional relationships in restorative dentistry. Understanding mandibular movements, occlusal contacts, anterior guidance, and the interaction between these factors provides dental technicians with a stronger foundation for making accurate decisions throughout the design and finishing processes.
In particular, the topic of simulating natural occlusion in full-arch ZirCAD Prime restorations brought the discussion closer to everyday laboratory practice. Rather than focusing solely on “creating anatomical tooth morphology,” technicians were encouraged to evaluate the restoration from a comprehensive perspective: morphology – function – relationship – movement. This approach is increasingly essential as modern restorative dentistry seeks to achieve a harmonious balance between aesthetics and function.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the session also provided an opportunity for HT Dental Lab technicians to discuss real-world cases and situations encountered during daily laboratory work, exchange perspectives on common challenges, and share practical solutions. Questions arising from everyday clinical and laboratory experience became an important bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
For HT Dental Lab, professional knowledge-sharing sessions are more than simply opportunities to update knowledge. They are a platform to learn together, exchange experience, and continuously strengthen professional expertise. Every session represents another step in the ongoing development of each technician’s skills, with the goal of achieving restorations that are increasingly accurate, stable, functional, and harmonious.
Learn from principles – understand through practice – grow through experience.
This is also the spirit that HT Dental Lab strives to maintain throughout its journey of professional development and continuous learning.
